Golden Triangle of KL
Golden triangle is the central KL’s flashy business, shopping and entertainment district. This area extends north from its base along Jalan Imbi to its apex at Petronas Towers. These towers rise up from the spacious landscaped gardens of Kuala Lumpur City Center. You can visit Petronas Tower and permitted to climb to the 42nd-floor skybridge between 9 am to 5 pm.
At the western edge of golden triangle is the impressive Menara Kuala Lumpur or known as KL Tower. You can visit and ride to the lift to the viewing deck, the view of the city could be very nice, especially on evening. Even you can dine in the restaurant on that deck, while enjoy the view of KL on evening.
Chinatown of KL
KL’s Chinatown always has plenty of foot traffic until late, it is safe to walk and enjoy the view. However it is advisable to walk in groups, especially in the evening or night. You can wait around Masjid Jamek, and join some travelers who have the same of walking tours in Chinatown.
Chinatown offer many attractions, foods and shopping. You can bargain many items in Chinatown, especially souvenirs, electronics and some goods. The cuisine always becomes main interest for travelers. You may taste a special cuisine differs significantly from other place.
Lake Garden
This garden located at the edge of central city area, around landscaped hills. It was the most luxury houses during British time. At the center of the garden is Tasik Perdana Lake, you can rent a boat on weekend and watch tai chi practitioners in the morning. There are many attractions on this garden, especially in some occasions.
You can take a leisurely, if sweaty, stroll around them, or hop on the shuttle bus that does a loop of the garden. If you travel with a kid, you may visit insect museum, bird park, Usually open from 9 am to 6 pm.
